“Many patients come to see me because they are not getting relief or getting better. Their current provider has not provided a diagnosis or treatment plan that is working, or they have been told “their symptoms are in their head”. Many of these patients have been made to feel like they are “crazy” or that there is nothing wrong with them, they are just difficult and demanding. Some have been to a multitude of healthcare providers and have undergone a lot of unnecessary tests without any conclusive results. They are frustrated because they have spent lot of money on modalities that are not working”.
“These patients come in with a big stack of medical records, lab results and other test results from the plethora of providers they have seen over the years. Many are burdened, scared and hopeless. My philosophy is very different from most gastroenterologists. I take a more comprehensive, holistic look at the patient and incorporate my training as a gastroenterologist (28+ years) with Lifestyle Medicine, nutritional supplements and other effective, reliable tests to make a diagnosis and create a customized treatment plan that I personally monitor on a regular basis with the patient.”
