What You Need to Know to Stay Safe
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected millions of people throughout the world. Healthcare providers and patients must consider the risks associated with this pandemic and how these risks affect the care we provide. At Fine Digestive Health, we are committed to providing the safest environment for our patients and staff.
We are taking these PRECAUTIONS to decrease the risk of COVID-19 infection in our practice:
●Individuals who have had or suspect active COVID-19 infection are not permitted to come to our office
●Individuals who have a cough with fever greater than 100.4 are not permitted to come to our office
●Individuals who have had close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 infection must wait 14 days and be symptom-free before coming to our office
●Adult patients should come to their visit alone unless another person is needed for safety reasons
● Only one adult is permitted to attend the visit with pediatric patients
● All patients must wear their own mask when coming to our office and must keep the mask on always except during the exam
● All individuals will be screened for fever/cough before entering the building
● Staff members will also wear masks and will keep 6 ft. away as much as possible during your visit
● There will be less foot traffic in the practice to maintain social distancing in the waiting area
● We will disinfect surfaces on a regular, ongoing basis to maintain a clean, safe environment
